Friends and Fans of the Purple Door Festival,
It is with a disappointed heart I bring you some news about Purple Door. It should be no surprise to anyone that Purple Door and music festivals in general have been struggling for several years now. This past year our friends at Ichthus in Kentucky were forced to call it quits after over 40 years of providing a great festival. Last year, after 29 years, Cornerstone Festival had its last band perform on their stage. We too have continued to see the effects of the ever-changing music industry and struggling economy. We have tried hard over the last few years to make adjustments to keep the festival alive. As they say, however, "All good things must come to an end". We have decided to cancel Purple Door 2013. The ministry that has produced The Purple Door Arts & Music Festival for 17 years is very much alive and kicking. Perhaps one day in the distant future, things will change and Purple Door will once again take place. We are looking forward to coming up with new and unique ways to connect with the culture and age group that Purple Door has touched since 1996. We have appreciated the overwhelming support we have received from our fans over the years. Thank You! It was God’s Grace and your encouragement that kept us going.

No need to worry about the possibility of rain tomorrow. All stages are inside this year, and there IS plenty of room!
